Mermaid Diagrams

Mermaid is a diagramming library that renders text-based diagrams into SVG.

GitHub supports drawing Mermaid diagrams in markdown via codeblocks with the mermaid language, and this theme includes support for rendering them as well.

Mermaid is enabled by default. To disable it and save the bandwidth of loading a 850 KB Gzip JS file, add the following to your _config.yml:

mermaid: false

To use it include your diagrams in a code block with the mermaid language identifier:

```mermaid
flowchart LR
  A --> B --> C
```
flowchart LR
  A --> B --> C

Examples

The following are the examples from the Mermaid docs.
